Intermittent Events Coordinator, Dennison Theatre & Adams Center The Dennison Theatre and the Adams Center invite applications for an Intermittent Events Coordinator position serving as Lead Usher. This role provides front‑of‑house and operational support during events at both venues.

Dennison Theatre Responsibilities

Serve as House Manager during events supervising student usher staff.

Provide additional event support in custodial services.

Assist Directors and production staff as needed.

Troubleshoot routine guest and operational questions.

Attend bi‑weekly production meetings with non‑student venue staff, as dictated by the theatre’s event schedule.

Adams Center Responsibilities

Serve as a roaming usher during events.

Support event staff by providing coverage for breaks.

Troubleshoot routine guest and operational questions.

Assist with overall event flow and guest experience.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or one (1) year of experience in customer service or entertainment industry roles or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of event space best practices and safety.

Knowledge of safe use of chemical cleaning products.

Able to work effectively with a variety of diverse groups of individuals and members of the public.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with concert or event space customer service.

Able to work nights and weekends.

Position Details Position number: 452150

Compensation title: Events/Promo Coordinator I

Union: This position is not represented by a bargaining unit (union).

Work schedule: Part‑time, intermittent, averaging 10 hours a week, 12 months per year.

Probationary period: Six (6) months minimum.

Benefits Pro‑rated annual and sick leave; Public Employees Retirement (PERS) optional.
