Position
Ryder is immediately hiring for a first shift Stand Up Reach Truck Forklift Operator in North Aurora, Illinois.
Pay and Schedule
Hourly Pay $19.00 per hour
Shift Differential $0.75 per hour
Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday & Friday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote‑induct, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.) in a warehouse environment.
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift production hours.
Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One (1) year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator's License certification.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Team‑player mindset and ability to work within a diverse environment.
Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.
Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with a good attendance record.
Works independently with minimal supervision.
Initiative and high accuracy even under pressure.
Capable of lifting or pushing/pulling up to 35 lbs; stand for long periods; work using health and safety methods.
Available for flexible scheduling across various shifts.
Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
