Infection Prevention (IP) Nurse - LVN
Pay Range: $33-$37 per hour (DOE)

Willow Creek Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Infection Prevention (IP) Nurse - LVN to lead our infection control program and ensure the highest level of resident safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Administrative Functions
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, coordinate, and direct the infection control program in accordance with current CDC, OSHA, state, and federal guidelines.
Ensure the facility follows all standard/universal precautions and infection control regulations.
Develop, maintain, and routinely update infection control precautions and aseptic techniques to proactively correct problem areas.
Interpret infection control policies and procedures as needed.
Maintain a current and comprehensive reference library of infection control materials.
Provide written and oral reports/recommendations to the Administrator regarding the effectiveness of the infection control program.
Assist departments in evaluating and classifying routine and unusual outbreaks or infections.
Participate in performance improvement activities involving infection control and prevention.
Educate staff on infection prevention best practices, PPE procedures, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications
Valid California LVN license
Previous infection prevention/control experience preferred
Strong understanding of CDC, OSHA, and state regulatory requirements
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Ability to train and guide staff on infection control practices
