Behavior Technician – Childcare Experience Needed
No certification required! Just 6+ months of paid or volunteer experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, camp counseling, church/youth groups, etc.). Schedule & Pay
Hours: All weekdays Monday – Friday 8:00 am–6:00 pm or 3:30 pm–8:00 pm.
Work setting: primarily in clients’ homes, with some sessions in our local centers.
Daily pay access available.
Compensation: $19.25–25 /hr.
Traveling Required You’ll need reliable transportation, including a valid driver’s license and car insurance.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
At least 6 months of paid or volunteer experience working with children, preferably in educational or therapeutic settings (ABA experience is a plus).
Smartphone or similar device capable of capturing client session data and tech‑savvy.
Exposure to individuals with autism or special needs through family, friends, or work experience is a plus.
Ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, pre‑employment physical exam, and immunizations to MMR/VZV.
Ability to keep up with active children and be enthusiastic and professional.

Help kids learn through play: teach new skills such as communication, sharing, or following directions via games or activities.
Be a positive role model: encourage progress and celebrate small victories.
Stay active: move around, play, and engage throughout sessions.
Keep things organized: track what you worked on and how the child did (we’ll train you).
Support families: help families see real progress and hope.
