Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery (PRN/Weekend Days) Texas Health Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse to work PRN on weekend days (7a-7p) with holiday and call requirements. Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093.

Responsibilities

Assist in coverage throughout peri‑operative care.

Respond to patients’ safety, physical, psychological and social needs.

Facilitate mutual problem solving with patients and families.

Listen and concentrate on others; remain reliable and attentive.

Qualifications

Nursing Diploma in Nursing or Associate’s degree in nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).

1 year RN experience; 1+ years recent ER/ICU/Critical Care experience preferred.

RNA – Registered Nurse upon hire.

BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required prior to independent patient care; maintained quarterly upon hire.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 90 days of hire.

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 90 days of hire.

High degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast‑paced environment.
