Job Description This role offers a range of $76,000 to $85,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to work at our Homewood facility. The Production supervisor reports to the Production Manager and exercises direct control over a Production department and coordinates with other Production Supervisors. As part of your role you will be responsible for:

Directing, coordinating and planning the activities of a specific production department under master production schedule and the hourly work force (including machine operators, i.e., milling, mixing, canning equipment, etc.) involved in the manufacture of product

Serving as lead person for a group of hourly employees utilizing established methods, normally to a maximum of 15 employees

Communicating procedures to all subordinates, assuring they are understood and implemented when applicable

Interpreting statistical reports, cycle time specifications and job orders to workers, and assigns duties

Qualifications To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

Have 2 to 5years of supervisory experience in manufacturing

Have a High School diploma or GED equivalent

Have manufacturing, warehouse and supervisory/managerial experience

Demonstrate mechanical skills and knowledge of Production processes

Have excellent math skills, as well as oral, written, reading and comprehension skillsin order to write reports,business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Demonstrate proficiencywith Microsoft Suite programs (MS Office) and other computer skills

Have prior experience leading, coaching, and developing a team and delivering performance metrics through others

Possess strong skills, knowledge, and capability in Manufacturing principles such as OEE, Lean, or TPM

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

SAP Knowledge

Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certificationAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups

Proficiency in Spanish, Polish, or sign language

Manufacturing Program Planning and Coordination

UV/TP/OSF (Ink) Manufacturing knowledge

Have worked in a production or manufacturing environment

Experience with Inventory Control

Experience with Change Management
