Join the New York State Office of Mental Health to provide professional social work services to individuals with mental illness. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply.
Base pay range:
$74,193.00/yr – $94,121.00/yr
Duties
Provide crisis intervention, service linkages, and discharge planning.
Develop treatment plans with individuals and the treatment team; monitor and evaluate progress; modify treatment plans as needed.
Determine discharge needs and appropriate community resources.
Establish and maintain relationships with community providers to ensure continuity of care.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) registered in New York State.
Eligible for the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (NY HELPS) program if not currently employed in State Service.
Or one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer.
