Job Overview We are recruiting a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to provide professional social work services to individuals with mental illness. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply.
Pay Range Base Pay: $74,193 – $94,121 per year
Duties
Provide crisis intervention, service linkages, and discharge planning.
Develop treatment plans and monitor progress, modifying as needed.
Determine discharge needs and appropriate community resources.
Establish and maintain relationships with community providers to ensure continuity of care.
Minimum Qualifications
Considered under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (NY HELPS) program if licensed and registered in New York State as an LMSW.
Considered for transfer to a competitive class position if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
