Job Overview The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides comprehensive primary care in a community health setting under medical director supervision.
Responsibilities
Perform health assessments, manage acute and chronic conditions, and promote health education for diverse populations.
Execute patient evaluations, treatment, minor procedures, emergency care, team collaboration, protocol development, and documentation.
Participate in continuing education, quality improvement, and after‑hours call duties.
Qualifications
Current NP license in Iowa.
Board certification in family or primary care.
Experience with underserved populations.
CPR/BCLS certification.
Preferred bilingual English/Spanish skills.
Physical & Working Conditions Physical requirements involve standing, walking, lifting, and other activities. Accommodations available for disabilities. The work environment features minimal to moderate noise and exposure to health hazards.
