Control Operations BI Specialist
Goldman Sachs – Salt Lake City, UT. This 8‑week internship offers a pathway to full‑time employment, fully in‑office Monday‑Friday 7:00 am–5:00 pm. Target start date: May 4 2026, with an estimated salary of $60,000 per year. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Responsibilities
Apply business unit requirements into an automation or analytics solution using tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, Python, and Power BI.
Build ergonomic and sustainable data analytics dashboards.
Mitigate risk for the firm and our clients by securely delivering data and insights to stakeholders.
Leverage innovative skills to identify ways to continually improve processes.

Digital and Technical Skills
Intermediate SQL querying and data management, including creation and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines, analytics and visualization.
Basic data analytics and visualization using Tableau or Power BI.
Python and/or Alteryx skills are nice to have but not required.
Education and Experience
Candidate must have one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in any field combined with at least 2 years of experience (professional, personal or academic) in Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and/or Data Analytics.
