Summary

Pega Lead Business Architect will act as a liaison between business users, stakeholders and technologists. This individual will work with the Lead System Architect and leadership team to chart business and technical strategies, evaluate user needs and develop and implement technological solutions.

Experience

9 or more years of relevant work experience.

Minimum of 7 years in related business analysis.

Minimum of 7 years in use case development.

Minimum of 7 years as a PEGA Business Architect with 3 years of current certification.

Broad experience in an organization that develops and delivers software to customers.

Managing software functional requirements throughout the SDLC and participating in an Agile environment.

Working with users/stakeholders to understand and capture software solution needs.

Configuration and deployment of software solutions at the enterprise level.

Documentation of requirements, test cases, and training material.

Role Responsibilities:

Act as the liaison between business and technology teams, translating technical and non‑technical information.

Work closely with Business Product Owners, stakeholders and Lead Business Analysts to gather user stories and translate them into business requirements.

Proactively identify and mitigate risks to projects.

Perform multiple roles as needed during the course of the project.

Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship skills.

Solid experience with business process modeling and change management.

Document requirements, functional design and lead test execution.

Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to understand business problems to be solved.

Capture functional software requirements and translate into user stories.

Coordinate with Product Manager and stakeholders to facilitate backlog reviews.

Participate in Agile sprints, sprint planning activities and lead agile teams and processes as necessary.

Define solution acceptance criteria, assist in software testing and publish release notes.

Develop and maintain solution training material and mentor other team members.

Integrate best practices into current working procedures and lead client workshops around software products and processes.

Support customer success teams, create wireframe designs, conduct process and product training as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

IT technical background a plus.

PEGA certified Business Architect, 4‑year college degree or equivalent technical study.
