Job Overview gt.school offers an immersive environment where gifted K‑2 learners master material 5–10× faster through adaptive technology and transformational coaching. As a Reading Interventionist, you will lead workshops and individual sessions that build focus, confidence, public‑speaking, and emotional intelligence in 6‑year‑olds.
Responsibilities
Facilitate small‑cohort workshops following a structured, playbook‑based curriculum.
Conduct 1:1 and small group sessions focused on motivating students to reach ambitious targets.
Employ storytelling, vocal presence, and enthusiasm to captivate learners and support mastery of challenging material.
Leverage AI tools and learner profiles to customize recognition strategies and sustain high engagement.
Monitor student advancement, conduct mastery assessments, and refine approaches using data.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with children ages 4–8 in group settings (teaching, after‑school programs, coaching, or comparable environments).
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline.
Proven record of academic achievement (e.g., National Merit Scholar recognition, early college enrollment, participation in academic competitions).
Available to work on‑site at the GT campus located in Georgetown, TX.
Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
