Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role based in Clarksville, TN. The Funeral Director will oversee and coordinate all aspects of funeral arrangements and services, including meeting with families to plan services, conducting services, and managing the preparation of remains. Responsibilities also include documentation, complying with relevant regulations, and ensuring families receive the highest standard of care and support during their time of need.
Qualifications
Experience in embalming and working within funeral home operations
Strong family services skills, including providing care and emotional support to grieving families
Excellent communication and customer service skills to engage with clients empathetically and professionally
Attention to detail and knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to funeral services
Licensure as a Funeral Director or the ability to obtain state licensure where required
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a sensitive and professional manner
Previous experience in funeral service or a related field is preferred
