Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patients' communication and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' speech, language, and cognitive-communication needs
Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to patients, including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing therapy
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
Participate in patient care conferences and family education sessions
Stay current with industry developments and best practices in speech language pathology
Requirements
Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist with the state of Alabama
Minimum of ONE year of experience in a clinical setting
