Job Summary This Client Operations Analyst role supports cash movement and disbursement activities within a brokerage environment. The position focuses on reviewing and approving cash transactions using risk‑based rules to protect clients and BNY while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures. This role is fully onsite in Lake Mary, FL, operating in a fast‑paced, high‑volume back‑office environment with strong cross‑functional collaboration and no direct client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Transaction Review: Review and approve outgoing cash transactions, including checks and ACH disbursements, using risk‑based controls to mitigate financial and operational risk.
Account & Balance Review: Assess account balances and holdings to ensure cash movements comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Document Verification: Validate paper‑based authorization documents by comparing submitted information against system records prior to approval.
High‑Volume Processing: Collaborate with team members to process a large volume of cash movement requests efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Risk Mitigation: Identify discrepancies, elevate issues when necessary, and ensure transactions meet approval standards.
Cross‑Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal partners across BNY to support accurate and timely asset movement processing.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Strong ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
Client‑experience mindset with a focus on risk reduction and accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to learn quickly and work independently after training
Preferred Experience
Experience in finance or operations
Exposure to brokerage environments
Familiarity with margin concepts in retail brokerage accounts
Entry‑level professionals or recent graduates with relevant coursework are encouraged to apply
