Base pay: $100/hr, paid weekly. This full‑time (40 hours per week) position is immediately available and requires entering an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. Compensation equals $200,000 per year (40 hours per week, 50 weeks).
What You Will Be Doing
Launch Alpha's flagship Houston location: ensure Alpha's core promises reach 100 students from day one through operational excellence.
Facilitate live workshops with K‑12 students on life skills: lead engaging one‑hour sessions covering public speaking, growth mindset, giving and receiving feedback.
Drive every student toward 100% goal completion: create personalized motivational frameworks and data‑informed strategies to sustain engagement.
Develop Guides through targeted coaching: pinpoint performance shortfalls, provide guidance, and monitor progress for accountability.
Lead campus operations through data analysis: examine performance across staff, operations, parent outreach, and culture; identify issues and implement improvements.
Uphold excellence consistently: establish and defend Alpha's quality standards, make difficult decisions when performance is inadequate, and model high standards.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field; a Master's is preferred.
At least 7 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, business, or a related field.
Direct experience building and managing teams of at least 15 people with full hiring and firing authority.
Deep knowledge of the Houston or wider Texas education landscape.
Experience working with youth ages 5‑14.
Strong data analysis skills and experience using metrics to drive decision‑making and continuous improvement.
Passion for transforming education and a belief that the traditional system is fundamentally broken.
Startup mindset: thrives under pressure, adaptable, and comfortable building systems from scratch.
Compelling and energetic speaker who commands attention from rooms full of students or staff.
Able to relate to K‑12 students, understand their interests and culture, and serve as a positive role model.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
