Job Description Under direction from the Cosmetics Selling Manager, the Beauty Advisor provides outstanding customer service, builds product sales, maintains relationships, supports team and new accounts, and follows company standards.
Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer experience from approach to post‑sale follow‑up.
Achieve & exceed individual, vendor line, event, and departmental sales goals.
Maintain a clean, merchandised counter and uphold counter standards.
Use Saks Fifth Avenue’s clienteling system to record client information and drive business.
Participate in in‑house training, pre‑booked facial consultation events, and other development programs.
Model Saks Fifth Avenue Principles: Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank.
Serve as liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and the assigned Account Executive.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably cosmetics.
Proven sales record exceeding quota.
Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomatic, goal‑oriented.
Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment with high multitasking.
Proficient with online clienteling tools and proprietary software.
Strong attention to detail, initiative, organizational ability.
Ability to work independently and professionally present makeup consultation & application.
