Odyssey Search Partners is a premier, retained executive search firm with a 15-year track record of helping clients source top-tier talent to support their long-term goals. Our clients include various types of fundamentally-driven alternative investment firms (private equity firms, hedge funds, family offices, etc.) across the United States. We are a privately held firm based in Manhattan. We’re proud to represent some of the biggest brands in the investment world, as well as growing firms.

Position We are seeking an Associate Recruiter to enhance our firm’s recruiting capabilities. This role involves supporting a range of client searches, sourcing and screening candidates, and gathering market and business intelligence.

The position includes an 18-month training program within the Market Knowledge team prior to speaking directly with candidates and clients. During this period, Associates will focus on gathering business intelligence, conducting deep candidate, client, and industry research, supporting active searches, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records. Associates will receive direct mentorship from the firm’s Head of the Market Knowledge team and gain meaningful exposure to senior recruiters with deep sector expertise.

Through this program, Associates will develop a strong foundation in the financial services executive search industry and gain insight into the alternative investment landscape, including the markets and products relevant to specific searches. The role offers excellent growth and development opportunities, with increasing responsibility as specialized knowledge is built over time.

Please note that this is a full-time recruiter role that will ultimately require frequent, phone-based communication. It is best suited for individuals who enjoy speaking with people throughout the day, conducting outreach calls, and building relationships with candidates.

Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Associate Recruiter role is comfortable and confident interacting with both candidates and clients and demonstrates the initiative to manage assignments with minimal guidance or supervision. They are outgoing and engaging, highly organized, and possess strong project management skills, with a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of their work.

An inherent interest in finance is essential. Prior experience in executive search, investment banking, investing, consulting, and/or business development is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is required.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The position is for a full-time start in Summer 2026.
