What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers inside and outside the U-Haul center with products and services
Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
Clean and inspect equipment, checking fluid levels as necessary
Answer customer questions and educate them about available products and services
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
Willingness to work in a moderately risky environment with safety precautions
Capability to participate in ongoing training and education through U-Haul University
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous customer service experience
Familiarity with rental equipment and services
Ability to drive a forklift (certification provided upon employment)
Interest in obtaining propane filling certification (training provided)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
