ASAP Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Sleep/Polysomnographic Tech to join a team for an overnight position in Ithaca, NY. As a Sleep Tech, you will play a vital role in conducting sleep studies and polysomnographic testing to diagnose and treat sleep disorders in patients. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing, analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of a sleep specialist. Set up and monitor sleep studies, including attaching electrodes and sensors to patients. Score sleep studies and provide accurate and detailed reports to physicians. Educate patients on sleep study procedures and equipment. Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of sleep study equipment. Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sleep Tech. Proficiency in conducting overnight sleep studies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Competitive pay rate of $48 per hour. Overnight shifts, providing a unique opportunity for Sleep Techs. 13-week contract with the potential for extension. Gain valuable experience in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders.
