Position Summary The

Junior Recruiter

will support company‑wide talent acquisition efforts by sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for a broad range of roles, including both technical and corporate positions. Based in our Alpharetta Headquarters, this in‑office position is growth‑oriented and designed for someone eager to develop strong recruiting skills while also providing essential administrative support to the recruiting function. Working closely with the Senior Recruiter, the Junior Recruiter will help maintain organized hiring processes, manage documentation and scheduling, strengthen our employer brand, and contribute to building high‑performing teams across the business.

Responsibilities

Support the Human Resources Team by assisting with all phases of the recruitment process.

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop candidate profiles for open positions under the direction of the Senior Recruiter.

Ensure a seamless recruitment experience and consistent communication.

Publish job openings on approved platforms, including the company website and social media channels.

Utilize Evans’ applicant tracking system to monitor open requisitions and candidate progress.

Screen incoming resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for further evaluation.

Conduct reference checks and verify candidate credentials in alignment with Evans’ standards.

Perform initial phone interviews as required.

Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Maintain and organize the candidate database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

Assist with federal contractor compliance.

Ensure compliance with federal contractor requirements during the recruitment process.

Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field, preferred.

Experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in a construction or related industry.

Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HR technologies.

Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.

Ability to analyze information and exercise sound judgment.

Experience conducting interviews via phone and video conferencing platforms.

Effective decision‑making and problem‑solving capabilities.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
