Now Hiring Child & Teen Anxiety Therapists: St. Louis, MO You’ve been working as a therapist for a while now, and you’re burning out.
Your caseload is huge, and yet you spend way too much time dealing with reports, paperwork, and meaningless admin. You became a therapist to help people, so why is there so much extra noise?
Maybe you’ve worked in schools or non‑profits, or maybe you’ve even tried private practice, but it all seems to come with extra duties, responsibilities, and noise that keep you from what you really love: helping anxious, angry kids and young adults who need it most.
Let us deal with all that hard stuff. Join the team at Compassionate Counseling St. Louis! We’re looking to hire clinicians who are ready to jump into dedicated anxiety, anger management, and trauma work for kids, teens, and families.
Instead of juggling endless admin, or worrying about marketing, billing, or self‑employment taxes, you’ll get to focus on your clients. As a W2 employee, you’ll have the stability of regular paychecks, PTO, and benefits—without the headaches of running your own business.
And unlike the big tech therapy platforms, you won’t feel like just a number or a revolving door of intakes. We’re a small, collaborative team where your voice matters, your caseload is thoughtfully matched, and you can actually watch your clients grow.
What You’ll Love
Small, thoughtfully matched caseloads so you won’t be overloaded
Collaborative environment with monthly supervision and quick support between sessions
Schedule control: you choose when and how you work (minimum of 15 client hours per week)
Policies that make sense and are backed by research: weekly sessions, tracking outcomes collaboratively with the client, and frequent parent check in’s for the kids on your caseload
Pay and Perks
$60 to $90 per hour for 45‑minute sessions (you’re paid for the full hour, not just 3/4ths of it!)
Up to $110,000 per year projected for therapists seeing 25 clients per week, plus paid non‑clinical time – you get paid even when you’re stuck in the office for a cancelled session!
W2 Employment status, meaning your job is protected, we help with your taxes, and we provide everything you need to do your job
$500 6‑month bonus
$800 per year CEU stipendUp to $800 per year in quarterly bonuses
Up to 4 weeks paid time off, accrued and rolled over
Unlike many online therapy or AI‑driven platforms that underpay, dictate your schedule, assign poor‑fit clients, and churn through intakes without real progress, we do things differently. At Compassionate Counseling St. Louis, you’ll have clinical freedom, privacy protections, and a thoughtfully matched caseload, so you can actually watch your clients grow.
We back you with research‑based policies, extensive training, and real support, while handling the admin and logistics. That way, you get to focus on what you do best: providing meaningful therapy that changes lives.
Requirements
Missouri licensed social worker, counselor, or psychologist
Extensive experience in child and adolescent therapy
Comfort working with young children through college‑aged young adults
