Premium Guard Inc is excited to announce that we’re hiring a Distribution Receiving Team Leader for our Memphis, Tennessee distribution center. The Receiving Team Leader will report to the Receiving Supervisor and lead a team of hourly associates.
The Receiving Team Lead will assist with training new team members and monitoring performance, accuracy and quality. The team leader will also assist with conducting audits to ensure accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to train in both receipt check-in and putaway processes
Maintain monitor screen of in-process containers
Complete and submit EOD requirements
Ability to track movements in system
Complete weekly audits of putaway drivers and receiving clerks
Address counting and/or footprint modifications
Assign and prioritize receiving department daily tasks
Assign lumping crews to align with processing containers according to dates (or approved expediterequests)
Maintain KPIs (SFM updates)
Address production/quality issues with receiving employees.
Ability to direct receiving team members to satisfy internal directives such as expedites, projects, etc. from management
Clearly communicate with Supply Chain regarding inbound quantity or quality issues
Monitor and maintain cleanliness standards on the dock to include equipment utilized by receiving
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to move and transport products up to 50lbs
Constantly positions self to move boxes of product
Thorough knowledge of P21 warehouse management receiving processes
Education and Experience
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and RF Equipment.
Minimum of 3 years of prior warehouse experience.
