Goodwill stores support this mission by collecting and selling goods donated by the community. As a Retail Associate, you are the face of the organization. You will assist customers with purchases, operate the cash register accurately and effectively, maintain the sales floor, stock and organize merchandise, sort and grade donations, price items for the sales floor, and issue tax receipts to donors. Responsibilities

Operate cash register, give correct change and receipt, and bag purchases. Accept credit cards for purchase according to established procedures. Watch for illegal activity and alert management. Keep cash register area orderly and stocked with necessary supplies. Maintain floor and fitting rooms during business hours. Refer customer problems to management. Sort, hang, tag clothing donations according to established guidelines. Pull items according to established procedures. Meet established production standards. Perform heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling as required. Handle all aspects of customer service in a professional manner. Follow all safety rules and practices. Perform all other duties as assigned by management to support Goodwill’s mission. Maintain a positive, courteous, and helpful demeanor at all times when dealing with customers, donors, co‑workers, and clients. Qualifications

Minimum of three months working experience. Basic literacy to complete forms. Ability to make change. Physical Requirements

Heavy work: pushing and pulling up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 20 pounds frequently. Ability to fully perform lifting and moving duties is mandatory. Benefits
