Description of Work In this position, you will transport residents to medical appointments, treatments, transfers, and activities and pick up and deliver materials, mail, supplies, medications, and blood samples. Responsibilities include:
Moving materials for construction, groundskeeping, or general maintenance.
Operating snow‑removal and cinder‑spreading equipment during inclement weather.
Conducting safety checks and inspections on vehicles and equipment before use, handling minor repairs and preventive maintenance.
Assisting with support tasks such as loading and unloading vehicles, cleaning work areas, maintaining equipment‑use records and logs, and completing required forms and paperwork.
All duties must be carried out in accordance with DMVA policies and general safety guidelines.

Work Schedule and Additional Information
Full‑time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch. A flexible schedule will include weekends and holidays as needed.
Telework: Not an option.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable.

Qualifications Required Experience, Training & Eligibility
Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses and single‑chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more; or equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement
You must possess a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
Additional Requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
