A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy services within a K-12 school setting. This assignment is based in Lake Placid, NY, and is offered on a per diem basis for the current school year. Key qualifications and skills include: Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Experience in delivering specialized speech therapy services via teletherapy. Familiarity with school-based speech-language pathology services across K-12 grade levels. Effective communication and assessment skills tailored for remote therapy delivery. Primary responsibilities encompass: Conducting speech and language evaluations, progress monitoring, and individualized therapy sessions through teletherapy platforms. Collaborating with educators and support staff to support student communication goals. Documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with school and state requirements. Planning and implementing therapy strategies that address diverse speech and language needs in a virtual environment. Additional notes: This per diem opportunity allows for flexibility in scheduling while providing essential speech therapy services remotely. Relevant Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility for practice is a requirement.
