Responsibilities

Supervise, labor manage, and plan inbound, outbound, product slotting and customer communication activities daily, including labor scheduling, space utilization, equipment and manpower.

Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities and plan continuous improvement.

Keep senior management and client representatives informed of critical issues that affect operations.

Develop systems and procedures for managing operations, equipment, and products safely and profitably in accordance with company policies and guidelines.

Implement and report on ongoing cost‑savings measures and suggest more efficient operations.

Meet all client‑specified KPIs and comply with the Quality system requirements.

Apply sound communication and motivational techniques, create fair and equitable supervisory programs, counsel, and discipline team members.

Assist in creating hiring, training, and professional development programs; participate in performance evaluation and recommendations for promotions, wage increases, and other HR activities.

Plan daily work schedules, assess priorities, and assign duties to appropriate warehouse staff.

Review pending jobs or trends, re‑organize warehouse space, and adjust staffing or supply levels as needed.

Train new staff, assess trainee progress, and add additional duties as appropriate.

Keep informed of quantity and quality of jobs being performed and provide guidance as necessary.

Keep Manager advised of progress or problems requiring attention on a daily basis and hold regular meetings with staff to discuss improvements and new developments.

Assist in physical operations as needed and deliver results by leveraging the skills of the right people at the right time.

Maintain high motivation to provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction and provide ongoing growth and development opportunities for team members.

Support adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train team members with corporate and client SOPs.

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or GED.

3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.

1 year experience in a supervisory role.

Preferred: prior MHE certification or knowledge of basic MHE operation.

Basic forklift training program completion.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

RF scanner and WMS functions familiarity.

English – reading, writing, verbal.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timely task completion.

Good organizational, personnel, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.

Adaptability to fast‑paced and changing work environments.

Willingness to work overtime and in varying warehouse temperatures.
