Position Purpose This safety‑sensitive position is responsible for the overall operational and financial success of the residential property and exceeding resident service standards. The manager will develop residential staff and ensure high employee satisfaction while maintaining community operations during pre‑designated office hours.
Key Contributions
Financial: Administer leasing procedures to meet or exceed the property’s budget, control expenses, accurately report payroll, collect rent, and initiate unlawful detainer processes when necessary.
Management, Recruiting & Staff Development: Interview, screen, train, retain and evaluate on‑site employees.
Property Appearance/Upkeep: Maintain clean, well‑maintained property and conduct daily inspections to assure curb appeal and security.
Customer Service: Deliver resident satisfaction, manage emergencies, and maintain leasing and maintenance documentation.
Perform additional duties as required.
Essential Mental Alertness Requirements
Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Perform tasks requiring high levels of cognitive function and judgment.
Remain mentally and physically able to safely and competently perform duties.
Respond promptly and appropriately to operating conditions.
Work in an unfatigued state.
Accurately gauge lengths of time and distance.
Store and recall instructions in short‑term memory.
Maintain concentration.
Coping with sudden changes or emergency situations.
Demonstrate a caring, committed and concerned attitude toward safety.
Position Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in marketing or business preferred.
Experience: One to three years of residential management or related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
Physical & Cognitive: Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds.
Driving Requirements (if applicable)
Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor‑vehicle record.
Reliable means of transportation.
Insurability at standard rates.
Proof of personal auto liability insurance when using vehicles for company business.
To be hired, candidates will be required to successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen.
