Job Description Perform duties as a delivery and order‑processing associate. Work with equipment, stock ingredients, manage telephone and in‑person orders, maintain inventory records, and deliver products to customers while ensuring accurate change, proper order entry, and quality control.

Job Duties

Operate and maintain all kitchen and delivery equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.

Prepare products as instructed.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility daily.

Deliver product by car and to the door of customers, delivering flyers and door hangers.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.

Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.

Successful background check.

Open availability to travel between

48 miles per hour

per day.

Training Orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; verbal communication with customers and co‑workers for order processing over the phone and in person; ability to train and lead.

Essential Functions & Skills

Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly; make correct monetary change.

Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Motor coordination required for rapid, precise movements.

Enter orders using computer keyboard or touchscreen.

Maintain cost controls.

Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.

Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings and private homes while carrying product.

Work Conditions

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when working outside.

In‑store temperature range from 36°F to 90°F and above.

Exposure to fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.

Work in cramped quarters such as walk‑in coolers.

Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.

Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
