What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Respond to patient inquiries regarding healthcare accounts receivables in a high-volume billing Call Center
Ensure timely and effective communication with patients through various channels
Research and educate patients on outstanding bills and their status
Initiate and resolve account receivable errors with billing teams
Maintain confidentiality and comply with organizational, federal, and state regulations
What is Required (Qualifications)
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; Associate’s degree in a related field preferred
Minimum of three (3) years of Call Center experience
At least one (1) year of billing experience (billing and coding)
Six (6) months of remote work experience
Ability to interpret insurance billing processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in healthcare/medical office customer service
Technical skills in Microsoft Suite and online payment methods
Strong de-escalation skills for handling challenging calls
