Expeditor
Elevate Aircraft Seating is a global manufacturer of aircraft seats, operating out of California, Washington, and Germany. We are seeking a skilled Expeditor to join our team in Huntington Beach, CA. Job Summary Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between each work center throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring parts shortages are satisfied or fulfilled for all open job orders per the production schedule.
Responsibilities
Provide status of backorder parts required for production on open job orders during daily shortage meetings with planning and production.
Coordinate with purchasing, planning and support departments to expedite parts shortages.
Monitor rejection, scrap and rework of parts, and take necessary actions to place parts from inventory or generate replacement job orders or requisitions.
Pay backorder on the production floor from inventory and update pull kits with correct lot numbers to maintain traceability.
Work with production, quality, planning and engineering to resolve material problems and issues during manufacturing.
Provide protection of products awaiting shipping, follow packaging instructions and prepare shipping documentation.
Drive daily between warehouse and production floor to facilitate efficient material and part distribution.
Assist with other related tasks and contribute to team effort as needed.
Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the company’s information and products.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of direct experience in a manufacturing or production support role.
Experience working in a team environment.
Basic computer skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Extended or irregular hours may be required.

Employees may be required to perform additional essential tasks as business conditions warrant.
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate Transparency: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour.
