POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Interior Designer (Sr. ID) is responsible for defining the scope of work through assessing the client's needs, requirements, and design/décor style. This position will provide design expertise and recommendations to clients including concept development, field measurements, space planning, generating visual plan layouts and sourcing products, materials, and accessories. The Sr. ID will be tasked with attending client meetings and creating client presentations while working towards multiple deadlines. Additionally, this position will assist the Director of Interior Design (DID) in providing additional oversight for the interior design staff, ensuring that interior designers are being trained and mentored and the needs and progress of the interior design staff are being reported.

QUALIFICATIONS Incumbents must demonstrate the ability to follow policies and procedures as established in the Company's Employee Handbook. In addition, the education, experience, and other skills listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Design and Architecture; Required

CERTIFICATIONS, Licenses, and Registrations Certified Interior Designer; Preferred CA Driver's License; Required

WORK EXPERIENCE 3-5 years of management experience within the industry; Required

KEY SKILLS SET Strong customer service skills; Have a good understanding of basic design principles; Must have a high level of current product knowledge in the marketplace, including but not limited to flooring, tile, countertops, paint, plumbing, appliances, and electrical; Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality; Ability to balance multiple projects; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Be fluent in the English language; Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines; Have the ability to visualize concepts and explain them to others; Be able to complete difficult tasks with limited supervision; Maintain regular and punctual attendance; Build relationships with clients and be able to work with different personality types; Have an understanding of product costs and how they affect project budgets; and Be a team player.

EQUIPMENT AND APPLICATIONS High proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; Working knowledge of all standard office equipment; Software proficiency including but not limited to;

PDF – Xchange for PDF creation; Builder Trend, construction management software; Sketch UP, 3D modeling application; AutoCAD, 2D and 3D modeling application;
