The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its national conservation organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall mission, programs, operations, and finances, with a focus on advancing the organization's reputation as a trusted leader in conservation. This role involves working closely with the Board, staff, chapters, members, and partners to set and achieve organizational priorities, ensure operational excellence, and drive meaningful impact in conservation efforts at local, state, and national levels. The Executive Director will also be the chief fundraiser, representing the organization to the public, policymakers, and the media, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a proven track record in leadership and management, with a preference for those with experience in member-based organizations. The role requires a skilled leader with a history of successful fundraising and the ability to engage with a diverse membership.
