About the Role

The Company is seeking a President & Chief Executive Officer to lead its community-oriented health system. The successful candidate will be a distinguished, mission-driven leader with a focus on organizational revitalization, financial performance, and the cultivation of leadership talent. This role is pivotal in enhancing the system's capacity to provide high-quality, accessible healthcare to the communities it serves. The President & CEO will be responsible for guiding the strategy, operations, and cultural direction of the health system, ensuring the delivery of patient-centered care, and navigating the complexities of the healthcare environment. Key responsibilities include overseeing all system functions, collaborating with the Board, medical staff, and senior leadership team, and leading efforts to strengthen organizational stability and improve operational performance.

The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have a Master’s degree in hospital administration, business administration, or equivalent, with a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience. A strong preference is given to those with at least 5 years in a senior or executive leadership capacity and prior CEO experience. The candidate should have a proven track record in an independent, community-based healthcare environment and be adept at driving excellence in quality and safety. The role demands a leader who is decisive, transparent, and forward-looking, with the ability to position the organization for sustainable long-term success.
