About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Americas. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of an integrated marketing and communications strategy for the region. This includes overseeing brand messaging, public relations, VIP relations, events, and crisis communications. The role involves close collaboration with corporate headquarters and regional stakeholders to ensure that all initiatives are in line with business priorities. The VP will also manage a team of direct reports, mentor and develop them, and align communication strategies across various channels and markets.
Applicants must have at least 10 years of public relations experience, with a background that includes prior director-level experience. The role requires a candidate with strong writing, communication, and presentation skills, as well as established senior-level editorial and publishing contacts. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask, work both independently and as part of a team, and be proactive in taking the initiative. A willingness to travel for shows and events is also necessary. The VP will be expected to lead in driving the regional public relations strategy, managing media relations, and leading crisis and sensitive communications to protect the brand's reputation.
