About the Role
The Company is in search of an Assistant Dean for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the strategic planning, development, and management of all program aspects, including curriculum, faculty and staff support, and ensuring compliance with educational standards. Key responsibilities for this role include overseeing program budgets, serving as a liaison for clinical sites, and advocating for students. The Assistant Dean will also be involved in the preparation of various academic and regulatory documents, maintaining student and faculty records, and actively participating in the recruitment and orientation of nursing faculty.
Applicants must have a completed MSN, a minimum of 2 years' in an administrative role, 2 years' of teaching experience in nursing programs, and 2 years' of direct patient care as a registered nurse. The role requires a current RN license, experience in supervision and budget management, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, and be adept at working with a diverse range of individuals and institutions. Responsibilities also include maintaining educational partnerships, participating in strategic planning, and ensuring the quality of instruction and student performance in the program.
