Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses with expertise in Level IV/surgical NICU care. This position focuses on providing critical care to neonates with complex diagnoses and requires a high degree of clinical skill and adaptability. Location: Cumming, GA Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM shifts Weekend blocked schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only Key Responsibilities: Deliver expert nursing care to neonates in a Level IV/surgical NICU setting Manage patients with conditions such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), meconium aspiration syndrome (MAS), necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), tracheoesophageal fistula/esophageal atresia (TEF/EA), abdominal wall defects, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative care Float to other departments within the hospital and cross-campus to the surgical NICU as needed Participate in holiday scheduling, including coverage for Christmas or the days immediately surrounding the holiday Comply with infection control and safety protocols within a nicotine-free facility environment Qualifications and Experience: Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years NICU experience Proven experience in Level IV/surgical NICU care is required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification mandatory; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred Willingness to float and adapt to changing clinical demands Must successfully undergo nicotine testing and provide evidence of influenza vaccination without exception Additional Details: Orientation begins mid-December, with an additional session in January Contract position with potential for flexible assignment arrangements About Cumming, GA:Cumming is a vibrant community known for its family-friendly atmosphere and proximity to natural attractions such as Lake Lanier.
