A registered nurse with stepdown experience is sought for a contract position in East Moline, IL, supporting patient care within an interdisciplinary team. This role involves utilizing clinical expertise to manage and provide care to patients in a stepdown environment. The position may require flexibility to float within the same nursing discipline across nearby campuses. Responsibilities include: Delivering high-quality nursing care to stepdown patients Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care Managing patient assessments, monitoring, and clinical interventions Utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation Adhering to facility policies and protocols to ensure patient safety and care standards Desired Qualifications: Current RN licensure with stepdown or progressive care nursing experience Proficiency in EPIC EMR system preferred Ability to adapt to different clinical areas within the same discipline as needed Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to providing compassionate and effective patient-centered care Additional Details: Schedule includes occurrences of night before orientation (NBO) lasting 16 hours Overtime and holiday pay enhancements available Opportunities for charge nurse and precepting roles with additional compensation Call back and on-call pay applicable About East Moline, IL: Located along the Mississippi River, East Moline offers a balanced lifestyle with a blend of urban amenities and outdoor recreational opportunities.
