As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to managing patient care effectively while occasionally floating within the same discipline across local campuses. This role requires adaptability and a commitment to quality care using the EPIC electronic medical record system. Responsibilities: Deliver professional nursing care to patients in the stepdown unit Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Manage patient assessments, monitoring, and interventions with attention to detail and patient safety Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed, ensuring seamless care delivery Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Proven experience in Stepdown or progressive care nursing Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and critical thinking skills Location: Milan, ILLocated near the scenic banks of the Mississippi River, Milan offers a small-town atmosphere with easy access to larger metropolitan areas. The community provides a peaceful environment with recreational parks, local dining, and cultural events, making it a pleasant place to live and work. Schedule: Typically 36-40 hours per week with billable overtime after 40 hours Night shift (NBO) requirements, approximately 16 hours weekly Job Type: Contract Competitive pay multipliers are provided for overtime, holiday, on-call, and charge/precept responsibilities, recognizing your dedication and flexibility.
