Office Administrator
Janice Graham & Co in Woodstock VT is seeking an outgoing, customer service-oriented individual for the position of Office Administrator. Responsibilities include front desk reception as well as a variety of administrative and clerical duties. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality. Bookkeeping skills and experience with Quickbooks accounting software a plus. Responsibilities: Schedule management: Coordinate and manage appointments and scheduled tasks File management: Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents. Process tax returns and electronically file tax returns Organizational support: Help maintain a clean and organized office environment by ordering supplies, managing inventory, and coordinating maintenance requests. Phone etiquette: Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, directing calls to the appropriate staff members Vendor management: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Perform basic bookkeeping for the office and clients as needed Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email management tools. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative tasks. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
