The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design and implementation of innovative, energy-efficient power and lighting distribution systems with a strong emphasis on sustainability. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution Current Professional Engineering (PE) License
Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 5 years as a Licensed PE Ability to obtain PE Licensure in the State of Texas 10+ years of experience in electrical design (Municipal/Aviation, Education, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors) 7+ years of experience managing MEP design 3+ years of project management experience 3+ years of supervisory experience over an MEP design team Valid Texas Driver License with acceptable MVR and background check
Typical Duties Serve as Engineer of Record for the electrical discipline Lead design of branch circuit and overall power distribution systems Perform design calculations and ensure code compliance Manage all phases xsgimln of electrical design from planning to construction Conduct site visits, field evaluations, and construction administration tasks Review submittals/shop drawings and respond to RFIs Lead internal and external project meetings Mentor and supervise design staff, conduct performance check-ins Prepare and manage project contracts and fee proposals Collaborate with business development teams to support client relationships Take on special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
