Location: Concord, NH (with work at a renowned medical center specializing in cardio-thoracic and vascular surgical care). Responsibilities include close monitoring and care of patients using advanced medical equipment such as IV pumps, telemetry monitors, chest tubes, and pacers. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care to a patient population primarily comprising cardio-thoracic and vascular surgical cases, alongside some medical progressive care patients. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Key qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Proficiency in telemetry monitoring. Comfort and experience managing chest tubes. Preferred experience with cardiac drips including dobutamine, dopamine, and Levo. External pacemaker experience is a plus. Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. Organizational skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a busy unit. Scheduling and environment: Work within a 10-bed progressive care unit. Patient-to-nurse ratios typically between 3-4:1. Supportive team with structured shift coverage (day and night shifts, including every third weekend). Use of Sunrise EMR system. Maintain professional appearance adhering to unit policy; scrubs required.
