General Summary The CHS SWSYS team ensures DDR systems meet strict stability, power, and performance requirements for next‑generation server SoCs. We are looking for a highly motivated engineer with strong embedded system development experiences and a solid understanding of DDR/DRAM technology and high‑speed I/O concepts. In this role, you will validate DDR memory systems through firmware and driver integration, stability evaluation, and issue debug.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross‑functional hardware and software teams to understand DDR, CPU, and HSIO system architecture for server SoCs.

Gain deep insights into DDR and CPU software design and validation methodologies.

Evaluate industry‑standard validation test suites and server benchmarks.

Contribute to quality assurance from development through commercial launch, including support for full production ramp‑up.

Work closely with global teams in the US, India, and Taiwan—excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of System/Package Design/Technology Engineering or related work experience.

Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of System/Package Design/Technology Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of System/Package Design/Technology Engineering or related work experience.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and reasoning skills.

Proficiency in bootloader software, Linux OS, and programming languages (C, C++, Python; JavaScript is a plus).

Experience in embedded system firmware and driver development.

Familiarity with DRAM technologies or high‑speed I/O interfaces preferred.

Ability to manage multiple complex stability issues and meet deadlines.

Self‑driven, quick learner, and adaptable to evolving project needs.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of relevant industry experience in embedded driver development and DDR memory validation.

Hands‑on experience with DDR validation frameworks or memory system performance analysis.

Exposure to UEFI development and low‑level system programming.

Knowledge of hardware‑software co‑design principles.

Familiarity with basic lab equipment (bench DMM, oscilloscope, power supply).

Education

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred:

Master’s degree in a related field.
