Direct Hire – MRI Technologist

Full-Time, Direct Hire Shift:
12-hour shifts | On-call required Pay Range:
$39.83/hr. – $49.34/hr (based on experience)
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate
MRI Technologist
to join a dynamic imaging team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to safety and quality imaging standards.
Key Responsibilities Review imaging orders and consult with Radiologists or referring physicians as needed Greet and properly identify patients; clearly explain MRI procedures to patients and families Perform MRI exams according to established protocols Demonstrate full working knowledge of MRI equipment and department procedures Prepare and administer contrast media and complete all required documentation Evaluate images for technical quality and proper anatomical positioning Maintain daily activity logs and assist with supply ordering and inventory Conduct preventive safety inspections and quality assurance testing in compliance with ACR regulations Identify equipment or workflow issues and report to supervisor Respond to emergencies, initiate code procedures, and provide CPR/first aid when required Complete follow-up documentation including contrast reactions, extravasation reports, and safety tools Coordinate scheduling with other departments to ensure efficient patient flow Assist scheduling staff with non-routine exam decisions Perform administrative tasks including ordering exams, tracking patient data, scanning documents, and copying exams as requested Ability to lift patients up to 50 lbs
Required Qualifications ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) certification – REQUIRED BLS (American Heart Association) – REQUIRED Associate’s degree in a related field Ability to complete Point of Care Testing training during department orientation
Preferred Qualifications Minimum
1 year of MRI experience
