A growing, self-performing heavy civil contractor is looking to add a
Superintendent
to support highway and municipal roadway work across North Texas.
This role is suited to a
field-focused superintendent
who knows how to plan work properly, run multiple crews, and keep jobs profitable. The company is steadily growing and wants someone who is up for leadership positions in the future.
This is a
true superintendent role . You will have a dedicated Project Manager handling RFIs, change orders, and project admin so you can stay focused on the field.
What You’ll Be Doing Lead field operations on a major project, with more work added over time Oversee self-perform crews across dirt, utilities, concrete, and paving Help plan work up front and keep projects moving in the field Track production and costs with support from the PM team Coordinate subs and maintain good relationships with clients and inspectors
What You’ll Need Experience as a Superintendent on heavy civil or roadway projects Familiarity with self-perform work (earthwork, utilities, paving) Comfortable managing day-to-day field operations Organized, practical approach to planning and execution Municipal xsgimln or TxDOT experience is a plus, not a must
What’s On Offer $125k–$140k+
base, depending on experience Truck allowance, bonus, and benefits Field-first role with PM support handling paperwork Stable, long-term opportunity with a growing contractor
