We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst with a manufacturing company background for eLoghomes, a national marketer and producer of log home kits. The position is based at our corporate office in Battleboro, NC. This is a fast growing company with a differentiated approach to sales, marketing, and installation service vs. the industry. The primary responsibilities of the role will be to assist with month end close, create reporting for Key Performance Indicators across the business, and serve as a business partner to each of the team leaders in analysis of their functional area. This position will also include working cross functionally with the VP of Operations to identify, track and monitor cost allocations, costing of materials, inventory analysis, and support the production scheduling / analysis as needed.

The position reports to the VP of Finance / Controller. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least three years of corporate or public accounting experience and is looking for an opportunity to grow their skillset and advance his/her career. This onsite role will lead the accounting and/or FP&A duties in a fast-paced environment using key skills such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Balance Sheet Reconciliations, General Ledger Journal Entries, Month End Close, financial analysis, and forward looking financial projections. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high growth potential with a strong desire to learn. Training will be provided. Key responsibilities include: Reconciling G/L accounts, preparing supporting schedules, posting adjusting journal entries, variance analysis, and preparing monthly financial and KPI reporting / dashboard packages Work with the leadership team on ad-hoc analysis to analyze trends in the business and provide insights for financial forecasts and modeling Inventory analysis, coordinate the physical inventory / cycle count processes, ensuring accuracy Analyze and streamline various processes across the business with an emphasis on continuous productivity improvement Participate in the setup and implementation of the new ERP system

Other tasks: Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Update and track status of each job order (billings vs payments) Monthly sales tax filings and property tax filings Streamline the process for calculating payments for sales commission program on an ongoing basis Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications include: 4-year degree with a concentration in accounting or related field Advanced Excel skills including creating formula driven financial analysis spreadsheets is required Knowledge of US GAAP and accrual based accounting Team player & strong work ethic Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs Experience using ERP systems Experience handling external and internal audit is a plus Familiarity of the COSO Framework and internal controls is a plus but training will be provided Familiarity with ASC606 is a plus but training will be provided Experience as a cost accountant in a manufacturing company is a plus but training will be provided Root cause analysis, FP&A, lean manufacturing, and / or 5S experience is a plus but training will be provided Position may require lifting up to 25 lbs.
