Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based behavioral specialist role is available to serve K-12 students, focusing on Applied Behavior Analysis and supervision within a dynamic educational environment. This position offers full-time, on-site employment in the Chattanooga area and supports students with developmental and behavioral challenges. Key Responsibilities: Provide behavioral assessments and interventions for a caseload of approximately 10-12 students. Supervise 1-2 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure the implementation of behavior plans. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized behavior support plans. Attend and complete a 4-day Therapeutic Crisis Intervention System (TCIS) training, funded by the district. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to maximize student outcomes. Maintain proper documentation in compliance with district and licensure requirements. Qualifications and Experience: Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure and national certification required. Previous school experience preferred, ranging from entry-level to advanced (0-10 years), with pay commensurate with experience. Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment tools and intervention strategies. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise RBTs and collaborate with school teams. Flexibility to work full-time (35-37.5 hours per week) during school hours, with potential for flexible scheduling between 7:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Location: This opportunity is located in the Chattanooga area, with assignments varying by school within the district.
