Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing specialized behavioral support within K-12 educational settings, this full-time, on-site contract role is designed for a BCBA licensed professional committed to enhancing student outcomes through strategic consultation and teacher support. The contract spans from January 5, 2026, through May 28, 2026, encompassing an itinerant position serving 5 to 7 schools to be determined within the Jacksonville, Florida area. Key responsibilities include collaborating with self-contained K-12 programs to assist educators in managing student behavior through evidence-based practices. This includes conducting observations, assisting with data collection, modeling effective strategies, and developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs). The role does not involve direct student service delivery but focuses on empowering teachers to implement successful interventions. Qualifications: Active BCBA licensure is required. Experience working with K-12 populations in educational or similar settings. Strong skills in data-driven behavior analysis and intervention development. Ability to conduct FBAs and provide actionable strategies for teacher implementation. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multiple school teams.
