We are partnering with a leading general contractor in the New York area that is seeking a Superintendent to join their team. About the Role The Superintendent will be responsible for the successful execution of projects from mobilization through closeout. You’ll work hand-in-hand with project managers, subcontractors, and owners to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This role requires a mix of field leadership, technical knowledge, and organizational skills — along with the ability to motivate crews and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of daily field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to meet project goals. Implement and maintain construction schedules, making adjustments as necessary. Monitor compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations. Track and report daily progress, issues, and manpower requirements. Conduct site meetings and coordinate with project management and design teams. Enforce company policies on safety, performance, and conduct. Drive continuous improvement in site practices and project delivery.

What We’re Looking For 1–7 years of construction experience in a Superintendent or similar field leadership role. Comfortable with technology and digital tools — must be proficient in laptops, scheduling, and project management software. Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and safety requirements. Experience in civil, infrastructure, or general contracting projects is highly desirable. OSHA certification or other industry credentials are a plus. xsgimln Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
