Key Responsibilities
Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to determine roofing scopes Prepare accurate take-offs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, Metal) Solicit pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, analyze quotes, and manage vendor relationships Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to refine project scopes and pricing Assist with value engineering, alternate proposals, and post-bid clarifications Track bid results and maintain accurate estimating records xsgimln
Qualifications
3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience Proficient in Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar take-off and estimating software Strong knowledge of roofing assemblies, installation methods, and materials Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple simultaneous projects
